GARBAGE WITHOUT CONTROL, DEVASTATING IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT

https://vocaroo.com/i/s0P9L8EaIpXU

The garbage is produced daily in the world is out of control, there are no dumps where to deposit it, humans have always had an impact on their surroundings. Garbage is one of our biggest effects on nature. The humans create too much waste for nature to keep up; in the world are produced millions and millions tons of waste a year, with the continually rising of the earth’s population, the situation is going to get harder and harder to slow, or fix. With garbage comes pollution. In our burning of garbage we are destroying the atmosphere just as fast as we are just leaving the garbage on the ground, when you burn garbage it gives off extremely poisonous gases into the atmosphere. If a person breathes this air it can hurt their lungs and if untreated can result in death. Even if we bury our garbage it will not go away. By polluting the ground it can seep into our farming soil and even into our ground water, in our city or town is necessary to recycle, several reasons exist as to why we should promote recycling. Recycling helps us to convert our old products into new useful products. In other words, it is good for the environment. Since we are saving resources and are sending less trash to the landfills, it helps in reducing air and water pollution. We must re-engage with our environment and take responsibility for it; live sustainably, living so that there are enough resources for everyone. Is important to raise awareness in future generations about caring for the environment.

Solid waste management

    Solid waste management
The inadequate management of solid waste contributes to the contamination of soil and water, the deterioration of the natural landscape and urban centers, and affects public health by the proliferation of vectors that transmit diseases.
Urban growth and industrial activities have increased the generation of solid waste, without developing strategies for dealing with environmental problems related to the optimization of the use of natural resources, the development of monitoring and control programs for compliance with the environmental standards, and the implementation of modernization and industrial reconversion programs aimed at increasing environmental and economic efficiency.

                                       Recycling
Recycling involves the processes through which the recovered solid waste is used and transformed and the potential of reincorporation is returned to the materials as raw material for the manufacture of new products. This process involves the separation and collection of waste materials in the place of origin, the preparation of these materials for reuse, reprocessing, processing and marketing.

                      The Environment Needs Our Help
As the cities have grown in recent years, the amount of garbage that is produced daily has also increased and there is not a plan to counteract or give a good handle to this problem. This is, in our opinion, one of the biggest environmental problems that the growing cities have, they have deficiencies in the management of the garbage dump, and this is producing negative impacts on the health of the inhabitants of the region and the environment.
Usually, the dump is located on the outskirts of cities, on a plot of several hectares. The solid waste of all the inhabitants is deposited there. This one receives all kinds of waste, including some dangerous, that are burned without any type of control or prevention. The groups of recyclers, of which several children are part, derive their livelihood from the garbage collection. Unfortunately, it seems that domestic animals like dogs, cows, and pigs feed on their waste. Bruises have been found on their skins and some have visible malformations, probably caused by contamination. According to the garbage collectors and recyclers, these animals are slaughtered and their meat is sold as food, while hides and skins, due to their state of putrefaction, are discarded.
Some of most promising alternatives are waste reduction and recycling. A simple and obvious choice is to cut back on the amount of waste and throwing out less garbage, the other option is to adopt a culture of recycling since it reduces the monetary and environmental costs of landfilling and incineration, as well as it substitutes used materials for virgin materials, thereby reducing the demand for natural resources. It conserves energy, and it creates jobs in the community. Without doubt, it is imperative to implement an environmental management plan to mitigate, correct, prevent and compensate the damage caused to the environment and to the community. Definitely, proper waste management is very important for this world, but also for the people and creatures that live on it.
